I had nothing to say against Carney personally.....I like him but he did NOTHING to even address any of the key issues which need changing for the last 8 years....so why should I have believed him about changing any of it. He owed it to himself and to Delaware to go against Minner is several issues...prison, state police/ psychiatric / wind energy/eminent domain/ He would have gained a tremendous amount of respect, if he had bucked Minner...it would have been gutsy...but it would have help sell himself as a reformer BEFORE he got labeled as "going along" with the party. He blew his chances because he was the living embodyment of Minner/ Adams/ McDowell/etc. etc etc. etc. Karen Peterson was originally a primary member of Carney For Governor. Committee...THEN SHE USED HER TERRIFIC ABILITY TO EVALUATE THINGS. AND AS USUAL....CAME OUT WITH THE RIGHT DECISION.... MARKELL. I am not trying to down play Markell's accomplishment because beating the party esablishment is un heard of. Markell gets the push from things like the unions losing. They (unions) will start kissing a lot of butt (Markell's).
