DEMOCRATS WILL HAVE TO PLAY IT COOL

About what?….about John Atkins making a comeback as a member of THEIR party. Openly, they will say that are not in favor of Atkins getting back into the legislature..where he supposedly left some broken female hearts; balancing his “I’m- married-but-it-won’t-be-for-long”, come-on routine.

Privately the Dems hope like hell he wins, if he runs as a DEM in those lower Delaware “Deliverance”-type neighbors. After all, those incestuous banjo-playing voters will do anything to get one of their own back in a position of authority….just to burn the asses of them-there snooty type nothern Delaware big-city boys..

Reporter Bruce Pringle of the Salisbury MD Daily Times researched it well, and it sure looks like Atkins clould pull it off;
especially since he is an expert at “pulling things off”, if you know what I mean.

You’ve got to remember…there were many legislators who were willing to merely slap Atkins on the wrist with a “now be a good boy and don’t do that any more” after his numerous transgressions of driving drunk, using his legislative power to get off scot-free, lying, and smacking the old lady around (as they like say in southern Delaware. They is no real animosity against Atkins personally….they only threw him out because of media and public pressure.

An Atkins victory as a DEM in hillbilly country, could play a huge part in the Democrat perfect storm theory—winning the majority power in the House of Representatives. Lofink’s seat is very shaky. Nancy Wagner is a sure loser, if you ask me, unless she has enough relatives and friends working in state jobs or in the legislture to actually become a pressure group to save her seat. She is political damaged goods that’s for sure…..and if you take a real close look at her, she’s got other real damage.

I think the Dems will not openly display the party power behind Atkins…no open money, no endorsements, no campaign literature….but a secret desire for his victory. The Republican opponent, “Atilla” Hastings, is easier to beat than Nancy Wagner in the Miss America Contest.

So, this is destined to be quite an election year. The Dems are secretly delighted that Alan Levin dropped out. In spite of their bravado about “he can’t win because of the democrat numbers” they will admit that he would have been the most formidable candidate that thay have ever seen in the last half century. A real donnybrook of a battle between Markell and Carney would have made Alan an even more formidable opponent. Now they no longer have to worry about that.

One little monkey wrench still has to be considered. The “change fad”, as I like to call it, could produce a Markell victory….not that he wouldn’t be the underdog…but remember, underdogs are “in” this year. Can you say Obama”. Every “sure thing” democrat could fall victim to “change-itis” if the under-dogs prey on the voter’s “we need reform heartstrings”.

A miniscule faux pas of personal behavior like the Atkin’s debacle is not that important any more: hell, back in the day, I remember Rockerfella not being selected as a VP candidate because he had the audacity to actually get a divorce….do you hear me…he actually got a divorce…..that shameful sinner. Nowadays you can get pipe jobs in the Oval office, and brag about sniffing coke and be the front-runner. What is this world coming to?
SINCE MY MAIN-MAN DROPPED OUT…ALAN LEVIN…I’M NOW A MARKELL GUY…BECAUSE HE IS CLOSER TO A LEVIN THAN CARNEY COULD EVER BE…..AND, I GUESS I’M A VICTIM OF THE
CHANG-ITIS MOVMENT. Where do you stand?
