OK….DEFEAT THIS LOGIC AGAINST OBAMA AND I WILL CEASE MY OPPOSITION

OBAMA IS SHOWING THAT HE IS JUST LIKE THE “REST OF THEM”.
If Obama was a true crusader for change, reform, “out with the old in with the new”…..then he should have stood up and proudly rejected the support of Kennedy, Kerry, Reid, Gary Freakin’ Hart, and ALL THE OTHER PHONY, DEMOCRATIC OLD-THINKING BAFOONS WHO HAVE PUT US IN THIS MESS WITH THEIR DECADES OF INEFFECTIVE SELF-SERVING POLICIES. ALL THESE DECREPIT FOOLS ARE THE EMBODIMENT “NO REFORM”, “NO CHANGE”, NO PROGRESSIVE HOPE”, AND NOTHING THAT OBAMA SAYS HE REPRESENTS. By accepting their support, Obama is announcing that he just like them…meaning that he is capable of just “using” people, the same way they have “used” everyone in their checkered pasts.

If Obama was a true reformer, he would have said: “Gentelmen, I hope your endorsement is sincere and driven by by principles, but I do not want your support. You, Senator Kennedy and Kerry and all the rest of you—you all represent everything I am against. You are living examples of the kinds of people and the kind of thinking that I am rejecting….and therefore I have to reject your support. Stand aside. I don’t want to owe you people anything after I am elected. You all have a hidden agenda. I know you all. I know that we are on the opposite sides of key issues. And I will not be tainted with what you represent…because what you represent is what I am trying to destroy”?

NOW IF OBAMA SAID THAT….I WOULD SUPPORT HIM MYSELF.
By buddying-up with that crowd of clowns…Obama has shown me that his “cleanliness” is a just a front.

We all know the Kennedy types, the Kerry types, the Reid types the Gary Hart types. and so on. We know that they are out for themselves in every single thing they have ever touched.

Here is their game….picture the behind the scenes conversations, which they probably had:
KENNEDY: “Hey you guys, the tidal wave of public support this kid is getting is infectious. We had better jump on this wagon in order to get on his good side”.
KERRY; “You’re right Ted. Besides, this Kid will be a piece a cake to handle…He doesn’t know what the hell he’s doin’ He’s just the rookie who sits in the back of the senate chambers….we can ‘play’ him easily. He’ll be eating out of our hand in no time.’
REID: “You guys are both right…and don’t forget, I expect to stay as the Senate Leader, Don’t forget that. Beside, the last thing we need is for that bitch Clinton to be running the country. She will be all over us with her damn ‘the people come first policy’ bullshit. No way do I want to have to answer to another Clinton. We can’t control either Clinton; but we’ll dominate the new Black kid”.

IF YOU OBAMA GROUPIES DON’T REALIZE THAT THAT IS EXACTLY HOW THE KENNEDYs and KERRYs AND ALL THOSE OTHER “JOHNNY-COME-LATELY” POLITICAL “SUPPORTERS” OF OBAMA ARE THINKING AND TALKING…THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE REVOKED….BECAUSE YOU DON’T KNOW CRAP ABOUT HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS.

Go ahead…defeat my logic…..I DARE YOU.

  1. John Flaherty Says:

How’s this for logic. From the Associated Press on the cost of the Iraq war.

“In 2008, its sixth year, the war will cost approximately $12 billion a month, triple the “burn” rate of its earliest years, Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph E. Stiglitz and co-author Linda J. Bilmes report in a new book.

Beyond 2008, working with “best-case” and “realistic-moderate” scenarios, they project the Iraq and Afghan wars, including long-term U.S. military occupations of those countries, will cost the U.S. budget between $1.7 trillion and $2.7 trillion — or more — by 2017…

Clinton’s experience and 3:oo am leadership voted for a $12 billion a month adventure.

    Enough said. Case closed

  2. Pat Gibbs Says:

Once again you’re underestimating my boy Gerry. FDR was the ultimate politician. Remember how he used Joe Kennedy. As soon as his usefulness was played he dropped him like a hot potato. Watch Obama do the same.

  3. John Flaherty Says:

Pat Gibbs makes a good point. ‘As soon as his usefulness was played he dropped him like a hot potato.’

Clinton has done the same with Elliot Spitzer.

! hour after the spitzer bombshell became public, the clinton campaign expunged all mention of spitzer from her website.

  4. Gerry Fulcher Says:

PAT AND JOHN…WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS?

To balantly “use” someone is a defect, not a virtue. And there is a HUGE difference between the support of a Ted Kennedy and a legitimate well respected govnernor the State she comes from.
Until this scandal the Governor of NY was a well respected quality guy who any one would love to have support you.

WHERE AS,FROM DAY ONE OF KENNEDY’S LIFE WITH HIS NEGLEGENT MANSHAUGHTER, AND ALL THE OTHER THINGS IS HIS DYSFUNCTIONAL LIFESTYLE HE WAS CLEAR BUM…….To purpose buddying-up with a well known BUM is really caving in to depravity —and that is what Obama did…he compromised his principles for the sake of an election edge.
I lost respect for him with that move.

As I said….do you realize how good Obama would have looked to the voters if he turned down the old-guard support of guys like Kennedy with a speech like this:
“I am absolutely against the old ways of Washington. And you Senator Kennedy and John Kerry represent everything that I intend to reform.
I don’t want your support, gentlemen. If you really want to help me, then give your support to my opponent; Mrs. Clinton”.

Remember, guys, on this issue you are talking to a guy, ME, who looked a Lottery Director in the eyes (Ralph Batch)..when he offered me one half of one percent of the lottey income as a salary, if I shut my mouth about the evils of gambling—and I said to him “That would make me a low-life scumbag like you, Mr. Batch. I will never live off the blood money from people who are destroying themselves to pay my salary”
I thus condemned myself to life of poverty, but I do it with a clear conscience. Sorry guys…but that dog don’t hunt….Obama caved in to expediency at the price of principle.

  5. Duffy Says:

    Gerry,

Politics is the art of compromise. You can go over the cliff with your flag held high but that’s not going to accomplish anything.

Guilt by association is going to taint anyone running for office.

Please direct me to the presidential candidate that fits your qualifications

Hit the nail on the head.

  7. John Flaherty Says:

Current New Mexico Governor, former Presidential candiadate, former Clinton secretary of Energy and U. N. ambassador Bill Richardson endorsed Sen. Obama for President.

Richardson’s endorsement came a few weeks after watching the New York Giants, led by Peyton Manning, their inexperienced quarteback who many said couldn’t win the big game, beat the New England Patriots.

Why is this important. Richardson watched the game with his old pal, Bill Clinton.

Gerry, sorry, but The coronation stumbles again.

  8. David Venables Says:

No argument here. I’m just glad Hillary survived all the sniper fire in Tuzla. God knows this years election cycle would have been horribly boring without all her bullshit.
